There are no words that children love to hear any more than Summer Vacation. Whether it's a trip to the beach, the mountains, or a visit to Grandmother's house, the break from the routine can be therapy to restore our bodies and souls. So many options are available that allow the family to get away for a while. The key to a successful summer vacation is preparation and planning. Make a list of everything that must be done before you go, such as stopping mail and newspaper delivery, care of pets that stay behind, and care of houseplants. Who will be the contact person in case of emergency? If you do your homework and plan properly, your summer vacation can be a time of sweet memories for the entire family.
